Pocket bungee

Use a soldering iron to punch a small hole in either side of the pocket. Then thread a bit of bungee through.

Everything you want to keep in the pocket gets clipped to the bungee. Whenever you need anything from a pocket, instead of having to rummage around, removing and holding onto one bit of kit after another, you simply reach in and pull the whole lot out. This makes it far easier to find what you're after, even without looking - an important issue if you're after the spare mask.

Once you've got what you want, everything just gets dropped back in any old way. No organising necessary, no loss possible.
